EG Driving School — Terms & Conditions

​Welcome to EG Driving School. By booking a lesson, course, or lesson package with us, you agree to comply with and be bound by the following Terms and Conditions.

​1. Lesson Bookings & Payment

​Payment Terms: All individual lessons, packages, and courses must be paid for in advance or at the beginning of the scheduled lesson.

​Package Expiry: All lesson packages are valid for 12 months from the date of purchase. Unused lessons after this period expire and cannot be redeemed or refunded.

​2. Rescheduling & Cancellation Policy

​We enforce a strict 48-Hour Cancellation and Reschedule Policy to ensure fairness for our instructors and other learners.

​Notice Period: If you need to cancel or reschedule a scheduled lesson, you must notify us at least 48 hours prior to the start time of your lesson.

​Late Cancellations (Under 48 Hours): If you cancel, reschedule, or fail to attend a lesson with less than 48 hours' notice, the full lesson fee will be charged or deducted from your package balance.

​Instructor Cancellations: If EG Driving School must cancel a lesson due to unforeseen circumstances, vehicle breakdown, extreme weather, or illness, you will be notified immediately and offered an alternative time slot at no additional charge.

No-Show & Late Arrival Policy: Instructors will wait at the agreed pickup location for a maximum of 15 minutes from the scheduled start time. If you fail to arrive within 15 minutes or cannot be reached, the instructor will leave, the lesson will be marked as a no-show, and the full lesson fee will be forfeited/deducted from your package balance.

​3. Refund Policy

​Learners are eligible for a refund on any unused portion of a lesson package, subject to the following rules:

​Loss of Package Discount: Package prices are discounted on the condition that the full package is completed. If you request a refund before completing the entire package, all lessons you have already taken will be recalculated at our standard Single Lesson Individual Rate.

​How Refund is Calculated:

Refund Amount = Total Price Paid for Package – (Number of Completed Lessons × Standard Single Lesson Rate)

​No Discounts Applied: Promotional rates or package discounts do not apply to completed lessons when a package is cancelled midway.

​No Balance Remaining: If the cost of the completed lessons (at the standard single-lesson rate) equals or exceeds the total amount paid for the package, no refund will be issued.

​4. Learner Responsibilities

​Licence Requirements: You must hold and carry a valid Learner Driver Licence (or approved international/interstate licence) at all times during lessons.

​Fitness to Drive: Learners must be fit to drive. Instructors reserve the right to cancel a lesson immediately without refund if a student is suspected of being under the influence of alcohol or drugs.

​Footwear: Suitable, safe footwear must be worn during every lesson (no flip-flops, high heels, or bare feet).

​5. Driving Test Usage

​Test Day Vehicle Hire: Booking an instructor’s vehicle for a practical driving test is subject to the instructor's assessment of your test readiness.

​Licensing Fees: Fees charged by the government licensing authority are separate and not included in EG Driving School lesson fees unless explicitly stated.
